Our Islamic Principles
How NoorMatch keeps the marriage process halal and Islamically compliant — wali involvement, modesty, and professional conduct between genders.
NoorMatch is an Islamic marriage platform built by Muslims to help Muslims marry in a way that is pleasing to Allah. It requires wali (guardian) involvement when conversations begin for sisters, discourages image-sharing, and keeps conduct between genders modest and professional.
Wali involvement when conversations begin
Sisters include their wali (guardian) once a conversation starts.
A sister can sign up and use NoorMatch without a wali, but when she matches with a brother and wants to start a conversation, her wali is included from the outset. This safeguards all parties, keeps correspondence respectful and within the bounds of what is permissible, and reflects the wali’s role in the Islamic marriage process.
Discouraging image-sharing
The platform centres on character and compatibility, not photos.
Unlike dating apps, NoorMatch does not build the experience around images. Members are encouraged to assess one another on deen, character, values, and compatibility, reducing exposure to fitna.
Modest, professional conduct between genders
Interactions stay respectful and oriented toward marriage.
NoorMatch is built for Muslims seeking marriage, not casual interaction. Communication is structured to remain modest and professional, with a serious marriage intention throughout.
Built by Muslims, for marriage that pleases Allah
Every feature is weighed against Islamic principles.
NoorMatch was created by Muslims to facilitate the halal and restrict the means that lead to haram or fitna. Features are continuously reviewed so that finding a spouse remains a process that is pleasing to Allah.
